Manenberg's Jazz Cafe is currently owned by founding members Clarence Ford and Dmitri Jegels, and another investor.

Clarence Ford is a freelance radio announcer (now in his second decade of broadcasting), and he is currently with Heart 104.9 (Cape Town). He broadcasts daily (Mon - Fri) between 09h00 and 12h00. The Heart website is www.1049.fm. He is also an entrepreneur par excellence, Manenberg's Jazz  Cafe being just one of his successful ventures. He was cofounder of ESP Afrika, which launched the very successful annual North Sea Jazz Festival in Cape Town 7 years ago. Clarence has since left the organisation and is pursuing other, equally succesful endeavours. (The festival has been renamed the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.)
