Manenberg's Jazz Cafe: Cape Town's premier live jazz and African music venue

Some pictures taken on a typical night at Manenberg's Jazz Cafe: Nigerian born Kunle was performing, and Spirogyra decided to pop in after performing elsewhere in Cape Town, and suddenly there was a whole lot of jamming going on! Note the windows behind and on the side of the stage are actually covered by props in preparation for a television shoot of the show "Comedy 4Play", which was set for the Monday after Kunle's weekend performance at Manenberg's Jazz Cafe. Further down there are some pics that were taken during the KFM live broadcast from Manenberg's Jazz Cafe. See also pics of Mpho and Uvimba with Mama Afrika, Miriam Makeba!

Some day time shots taken at Manenberg's Jazz Cafe during a live sundowner, with Just Us performing. Note the props have been removed, so the windows at the back and on the side of the stage are now visible. If your'e wondering where the guests are, well, as you can see: it was a wonderfully sunny winter's day, so everyone's on the balcony!
